TranslateThank you to everyone who came out to our Spring Fling! It was a great year-end Essex/Hawthorne event where our schools came together on a beautiful evening to mingle, party and dunk a few teachers!
Special thanks to Letizia Iozzo, Jean Halcro, Nicole Belcourt, Samarra Khaja, Nancy Amato and Darlene Eriksen for organizing this year’s event in record time with the help of Cyndi Cornblit and Heather Morton from Hawthorne. Funds raised at this event will go toward new computers for both our library and computer lab.
We are proud to say that, with your support, the event raised more than $4,800.00!! New computers, here we come!
We could not have done this without the help of the volunteers! You painted faces, sold tickets, handed out food, baked goodies for our bake sale, managed the popular lines for the bouncy castles, conducted fun workshops, played music, you did it all!
And finally, to the teachers and staff: You made this year’s event! Without your amazing willingness to go in the dunk tank and to get a pie in the face, this year wouldn’t have been as wonderful as it was. You created a memorable night that the kids are still talking about.
