- NEXT PARENT COUNCIL MEETING
Please join us on Tuesday, February 21st at 6:30 p.m in the school library, to have your voice heard. Agenda is attached.

- We have slightly amended the announcement from a couple of weeks back:
Essex BINGO Night – Next Friday, Feb. 24, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Once again, we welcome our Essex community to join us in the gym on the evening of Friday Feb. 24 for our second largest fundraising event of the year. Proceeds raised this year will go towards technology upgrades throughout our school and student enrichment initiatives.
- 10 games with 10 big prizes
- Raffle prizes
- Pizza, baked goodies, water/juice/coffee, and popcorn for sale
- Essex spirit wear will also be on sale
Who will go home with the Blue Jays tickets (with a visit to the Sportsnet Booth), the Stubbe Chocolate Basket, 2 months of after school lessons at Toronto BJJ Mixed Martial Arts Academy, and tickets to local shows and restaurants?
We hope to see you there for a great night of laughs, community building, and competitive bingo dabbing!
Volunteers are needed to help make this night a success. Please email parentcouncil@essexpublicschool.com or sign up on the Essex Parent Council bulletin board outside the main office if you can offer an hour or more of your time. Please indicate what times you are available (e.g., before, during, clean up).
We are also looking for baked NUT FREE goodies to sell during Bingo Night. If you can help, please drop off your items at the office during the day on Friday Feb 24 or bring them directly with you to Bingo Night. Thank you!

- BOOK SALE IN LOBBY
The Book Sale is on again in the main lobby. Books are $1 and all proceeds to go Parent Council initiatives such as Scientists in the Classroom. The Book Sale will run until Bingo Night – Friday Feb. 24th. Please also feel free to bring book donations to the office as we replenish the tables regularly. Thank you.

- PIZZA LUNCH VOLUNTEERS
We are still looking for volunteers to help out on Pizza Lunch days. 11.15 until noon and you get pizza for lunch, too. Please email parentcouncil@essexpublicschool.com or sign up on the board outside the main office. Thank you for helping out.
