The floor of the East Gym was replaced over the summer.
In addition, the lunch tables located in the walls were removed and concrete was put in its place.
Facilities will be in next week to paint the walls on one side of the gym beginning Tuesday, September 10th so picnic lunches will take place until the painting is completed. If there is inclement weather, alternate arrangements will be made.
Thank you

The Essex and Hawthorne X-Country team is open to all students in Grades 1-8. Practices will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8 am on the track. Beginning on Sept 16th students in grade 4-8 will run to Christie Pits for practice. Students must attend at least 7 practices to come to the meet on Wednesday October 2nd at Ashbridges Bay. We will travel to the meet by school bus for grades 2-8. Students in grade one require a parent volunteer to take them to the meet as they will need close supervision for their first year on the team.
Look forward to seeing you at practice,
Coaches Jessica Haber, Erin Corcoran and Sonia Artinian-Ausberger
