ACTE, Annex Children’s Theatre in Education, is very happy to be offering a second term of fun and enriching Lunch-Time Drama Club at Essex/Hawthorne Alternative School for students in grades 3 – 6. Classes will be held in the library every Thursday starting the week of February 6th. The students will eat their lunch in the gym and at 11:55 am I will round them up to go to drama, (in the library). If you are interested in this program for your child, please sign the permission form and hand it in with a cheque, (made out to ACTE), to the Hawthorne office.
CREATIVE DRAMATICS, Grades 3-6, (max. 20 students)
This fun-filled class will allow the young artist to explore and develop new drama skills through drama games, improvisations and storytelling. Students will create an original play to be presented at the end of the term. Family and friends are welcome!
TIME: Thursdays Feb. 6th, 2014–April 24th, 2014, (No class March 6th, March 13)
FEE: $65/term
There are only 20 spots available therefore students will be accepted to the program on a first come first served basis. A cheque made out to A.C.T.E. must be attached with the permission form and dated for the first day of class in order for students to be admitted. Please hand the cheque in to the office.
