Items Needed for the Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) Program

Hello Essex & Hawthorne Families!

Do you have some items in your home that no longer “spark joy”?

We are holding a drive to collect items to use in our Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) program as upcycled loose parts. Metal, plastic, or wooden items only, please.

Examples of needed items:

Baking pans
Cake moulds
Ice cube trays
Muffin tins
Kitchen tools (spoons, spatulas, tongs, etc.)
Measuring spoons
Pots and pans
Funnels
Strainers
Buckets
Shovels
Milk crates
Baskets

Please bring the items to Tracey in the Hawthorne office during the week of January 28-Feburary 1.
